In Solasta: Crown of the Magister we can play only solo. The game also lets you use small heroes to explore - they can get to places others can't, which can be very useful, but can also leave a lone character vulnerable to death. We can use light as a weapon, but in doing so we also reveal the position of our heroes, leaving them vulnerable to attack. Other factors, such as lighting and character size, also play a role. It is also possible to use environment - for example knocking down columns or fragments of walls or destroying bridges. The combat is played in a turn-based system, and success requires appropriate use of individual characters' talents. The developers from Tactical Adventures studio focused on the freedom of gameplay and three-dimensionality of the maps - during the game we can climb and fly, which often helps to gain advantage over the enemies. The game was developed to resemble as much as possible a classic, "paper" RPG. We also have the opportunity to customize the personality and draw statistics. Each of them has different special abilities. humans, elves, dwarves, hobbits) and character classes (warrior, thief, cleric and mage).

Production offers access to several different races (e.g. We start the game from creating our team. During the game we control a team of four heroes. Solasta: Crown of the Magister is a tactical RPG, in which the action is observed from an isometric perspective. The story itself is rather pretextual and does not take too much of our attention. Sure it's okay but this isn't anywhere near to perfect. Our team of daredevils is given a task to investigate the disappearance of one of the expeditions, which regularly venture into the ruins of the elven empire in search of powerful artifacts. I finished the game, but games like these need good stories, this doesn't have that. I think that would of been more fund, at least for me. I had to turn down the difficulty in some battles, I think some of this was due to the party comp that I had, I did wish however that we could have five instead of four characters in the group. The game is actually quite difficult at times. The voice acting is meh, nothing really stands out. not every cutscene for your characters needs to have a sarcastic remark. What doesn't help is the party dialogue/banter, it's funny once in awhile but doesn't fit a lot of the times as it's like forcing jokes to see if it works or not. You don't get any good loot/items for the most part, this always disappoints me when playing a crpg/dnd game and no good items The story is okay, but nothing that makes you want to do a second playthrough. Way too much repetitive battles of the same types of enemies, I mean how many times we got to fight spiders, (it's a surprise when you don't have to). Some others mention worse than that Character design is honestly bland looks like something from previous SIMS loool. For one, there are a lot of bugs that I experienced, the game would close out a lot when trying to reload the game, also the menu and shops are bugged.
